Jeff Weitzel for Model Number JBP30BA4 I tested the lower oven element that had stopped working, but it had continuity (did not remove it first), so I opened up the back. I found the connection to the element had melted. Both the crimps and element connectors were fried. I know I could just buy another new element and put new crimps on the wires, but I wonder what is causing it to get so hot? Will it just keep melting again? This element is only one year old. Any ideas?
Answer Jeff W, Based on the description of your issue this is usually caused by a loose connection, when replacing the element and wire terminal connectors make sure all connections are tight. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, February 5, 2021
