Cliff for Model Number GE JB968S0K1SS GE JB968s0k1ss Neither broiler nor self clean work. I checked the broiler element and it shows continuity (about 1 Ohm cold of course). Oven and all burners are otherwise fine. there are no abnormal indicators error codes etc. on the display. I hear a small relay click when I press the start button in the broil hi or lo selection. When I try to do a self clean, the lock engages but no heat. Please help to diagnose correct part(s) to purchase. Thanks very much. Cliff
Answer Hello Cliff. If you test for power coming from the control to the element during a broil cycle, and you do not have 240 volts there, you will need to replace the control WB27T10806 in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
