John for Model Number JP3432S3BG While cleaning my GE Profile Radiant Cooktop I removed the element selector knobs to clean a spill underneath. Afterward I turned the unit on and got a big pop and threw the breaker. I removed the knobs again and found that either the spill or maybe the cleaning solution must have seeped into one of the element switches. I could see the gasket had slightly worn and I fear this was the problem. My question is how do I disassemble the unit to look at replacing the element switch? Hopefully this is something I can repair without replacing it with a new one. Thanks.
