Bob for Model Number JVM1740DP1BB Last night my microwave started making a ringing noise and the screen said the control panel was shorted out. I unplugged it and plugged it back in this morning and now it works again. Is this a fire hazard? Also is it hard to replace this panel? Thank you
Answer Hello Bob, The unit will be fine until the error message is displayed again. It is the fault code for the touch pad WB07X11278 having a key that is contacting all the time. This will normally occur when the temperature is higher so it is more likely to occur after the surface of the oven underneath it is being used. Read More...
