Brad for Model Number 36275321002 started the oven the other day while cooking dinner while waiting for it to pre heat the oven filled with gas and shot flames out of the door now it doesnt work at all broiler at top works and stove top but not the oven also the oven has never heated up tp proper temp any ideas??
Answer Brad, you most likely had a weak or faulty oven igniter WB13K21 causing a delayed ignition, this could cause the circumstances you described. The igniter produces an amp draw of 3.2 to 3.6 amps, this in turn opens the switch inside the gas valve WB19K36 if the amp draw was low and long enough, it could cause the valve to open but not ignite, until there was enough gas built up in the area to "explode".
