J.B. for Model Number DHDSR46EG5WW Hi, I removed the diffuser from the back of my dryer to clean it. Is there an easy way to line up the 3 holes? Also, is there supposed to be insulation? It looked like lint buildup that burned. thanks
Answer Hello J.B., There is no insulation in the diffuser. This would be, as you suspected, burned lint. The way I always get everything lined back up is by sticking two wire ties through two of the holes, this lines the third one up so I can start one screw.
