Answer Kathy, You will want to check the element to make sure that it is not burnt through anywhere. Also check to make sure that there is continuity. If this checks ok then test the oven sensor to make sure that it is at 1090 ohms at room temp. If the resistance does not fall within specs then it is faulty and would need to be replaced.
