Part Number: OEM6093300
Manufacturer Part Number: WB44X5099

This GE oven heating element is an OEM part for GE wall ovens and ranges. The element measures 18” wide x 15 1/2” deep With 1-1/2 inches from the mounting bracket to the end of the terminals that are screw-type. It generates 2585 watts at 240 volts or 1940 watts at 208 volts of heat within the oven cavity.

Symptoms of a bad heating element are:

  • Inadequate or uneven baking with cold spots
  • The oven taking excessively long to preheat or maintain set temps
  • Tripped circuit breakers indicating element failure

Causes of a bad heating element include deterioration of coil insulation from sustained exposure to temperatures upwards of 500°F. Normal wear reduces heat output over many years of use.

This OEM GE part can also be used on Hotpoint, RCA, and Kenmore/Sears appliances.

Peter, It appears that there are screw type connectors but if not you could get some 1/4" high temp connectors and replace the ones that you have. We would need to have a complete model number to confirm the correct elements for the unit.

Patrick for Model Number JC14004AV

Looking for replacement bake element for old GE wall oven. Model# JC14004AV Serial# SL517286 1970? Tag says 115/230-120/240v Also stamped between model and serial numbers is 4.6kw. There is a burned up/ broken element I’ve taken out with part # RP44x126, but wasn’t sure if that was the correct replacement, since wattage and voltage isn’t same as tag (don’t know if they’re supposed to be the same either). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
