Ben for Model Number GE: PSS25MGMBWW I have a PSS25MGMBWW refrigerator. The ice cubes in the collection bin freeze together in a lump. The auger motor and the solenoid that switches from cubed to crushed ice freeze up. There are frozen water droplets all over the upper part of the freezer and icicles form on the ice maker. On two occasions, the fan inside the freezer compartment started making noise. After completely defrosting the freezer compartment, everything works fine for 4 or 5 days, then everything starts to freeze up again. I've cleaned the condenser, replaced the defrost thermostat, and replaced most of the components in the ice door assembly. The door seal looks good. Suggestions? Thanks...
Answer Hello Ben. Check and see if the flapper inside the dispenser is closing all the way. If not, you may need to order and replace the solenoid assembly WR62X10055 on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, August 15, 2012
