Faith for Model Number hot point cxs26mrda I have an older refrigerator. My ice machine works fine except that the cork screw like part corrodes. I clean it with lemon juice put it back in and within a few months or less its back again. Of course in between cleanings we get flakes of the stuff in our ice. Outside of replacing the unit (which works fine) is there anything I can spray or paint on the cork screw once clean to seal it. What has happened is it has pitted and once exposed those spots oxidize and it creates rust like substance.
