Curtis for Model Number GSS23WSTASS

I changed out the main control board after power outage caused it to not work any more. All the fans, compressor and lights are working now. My problem is that I am unable to set the temperature on the front control panel of the door. The lights for the water filter, and light comes on, and the temperature indicator blinks for 10 seconds with 00 for both the freezer and refrigerator side, then goes to a series of 0s for 5 seconds. I've done the 3 second hold down of all four buttons in order to run a diagnostic test, but nothing happen - I am unable to set the temperature for either side. Have you seen this issue before? Thanks, Curtis

Answer

Curtis, The most likely cause of this issue will be a display board that was damaged by the power surge. You would want to replace the display board for his issue.

Curtis, The voltage spike also damaged the dispenser interfaceWR55X10859. It can't communicate with the "motherboard" you'll need to replace it as well.
