David` for Model Number GE profile Quiet Power 7; model number: PDW9980L00SS My dishwasher is not advancing to the drying stage. i ran factory test / reset and all lights lit up to start on the key pad with the exception of the drying stage. i have full functionality of the key pad as far as up and down arrows, added heat, etc. A week ago i did get through 1 successful cycle and dishes came out perfectly clean and very hot to the touch; since then heating element seems to be intermitment at best....but appears that when it gets signal to be on, it does go on. current cycles i have attempted to run will get down inside the 30 minute remaining mark on timer and then at somte point presumably when time to start drying, cycle will terminate. does this sound like a control board issue or could it be symtomatic of other problem?
Answer David, This issue would sound more like a control board issue rather than anything else. It would be a good idea to test the heating element and thermostats to make sure that it is ok. If they check ok then the control board would be faulty. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, December 23, 2013
