Matt for Model Number JT965B0F7BB I have the JT965B0F7BB wall microwave/oven combo unit. It’s probably 12-14 years old, but works fine. I want to replace the Sensor ASM (part# WB23T10015). I can see it inside the oven at the back, but cannot get it out through the oven itself. Should I be able to do that (disconnect and remove the old part through the oven), or do I have to pull the whole oven unit out of the wall to un-clip the wire harness? Please advise. Thx.
Answer Matt, the wire connector can become caught on a wire or panel where it will not easily move out for accessibility. When this occurs, it is usually safest to access the connector from the back of the oven. However, with great care taken, it can be attempted to gently wiggle the sensor wire to try to loosen where the connector may be getting stuck. Read More...
