Eddyb for Model Number JCSP47BF5BB On trying to replace part number WB23T10015, the temperature sensor, I found that the sensor plug and the receptacle had melted together. They were so brittle, they shattered apart when I touched them. With a bit of scraping I got the receptacle clear enough so that I could get sensor plugged in but there are exposed parts and it would probably have to be taped together with electrician's tape. Even though the taped bit would be well inside the back panel, I'm kinda leery of doing that. It seems the alternative is a complete wiring harness or a new range. Please advise.
Answer Eddy, It would be recommended to cut off the connectors and splice the wires together using ceramic wires nuts and then taping them off with electrical tape. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, May 16, 2022
