Jeff for Model Number JGP975SEK2SS Recently had issue with GE cooktop where spark would not stop until unplugged regardless of gas knob. Purchased replacement harness for switches. Replaced, plugged in and red lockout light is not on permanently. Rotated lock out switch after removing to see if anything was loose while not connected to gas knob...and when plugged back in red lockout light is off. However when you turn lockout ON, the red light comes on and buzzer goes crazy with all knobs in off position. Very strange. Now I get the burners to light, all but one. Is the harness bad because the lockout switch is acting funny or is it the spark module bad? The only burner that won't light now is front right. It does spark when I use the other burners (and they light normally) but when I use that particular one, it will not spark or light. Any suggestions? The lockout knob/switch seems to be the issue. thanks
Answer Jeff, This issue sounds like you may have gotten a faulty switch harness. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, June 16, 2017
