Charles for Model Number GE JGP970SEKSS 2008 unit : having an issue where the spark ignitors are randomly clicking (intermitantely; NOT a fast click); sometimes just one burner, sometimes multiple burners, w/ no apparent pattern. The unit is not wet (cooktop not used for several days). Obviously, when we trip the circuit breaker it stops; stopping the gas flow did nothing. Otherwise, all the burners (this is a five burner unit) operate normally (they lite & operate fine), but the clicking (about every four seconds) will not stop, even when a burner is lit. I assume it has to be the spark ignitor generator module gone faulty (part #WB13T10047)?
Answer Hello Charles. If there is no moisture in the switches, then you are correct. The spark module will need to be replaced on the unit. Thank you. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, October 16, 2017
