Rudie Allison for Model Number JP350BV1BB The 9 inch element on my GE cooktop always seems to overheat. Is the problem most likely the infinite control or the element?
Answer Rudie, The infinite switch WB24X29364 , would be the issue, if there is an issue. You need to remember, 2500 watts is a lot of heat, when that element is on the high setting.
