Danny for Model Number PSH23SGPA I have a side-by-side fridge and both the freezer and fridge stopped cooling(freezer is at 50/fridge is at 74). I checked the evaporator coils but there was no ice buildup, opened the back part of fridge and cleaned all the dust, checked to make sure that all lights turn on/off correctly, and made sure doors seal properly. Then I used a multimeter to test the evaporator fan, condenser fan motor, themistors, and the J15 plug and all appear to be ok. The 2 resistors in the mainboard do not appear to be burned. When I plug in the fridge I can feel the compressor vibrate a bit but then it's pretty much quiet. Any suggestions of what else I could check?
Answer Hello Danny. You will need to test the compressor and see if it is good. Also test and see if there is power at the compressor. If there is no power, you could have a bad main board WR49X10152 or a bad inverter board WR55X20817.
