John for Model Number gts22wcpbrcc Is there a temp. sensor beside a defrost thermostat for this model? if so where is it located and how to install it? I have my evaporator exposed however I don't see anything that resembles the temp. sensor as shown in part number WR55x10025. Thank you for your time.
Answer Hello John! Yes, there is a temp sensor WR55X10025 located inside of a clip (part number WR02X10879) on the evaporator assembly. The wires originate from the evaporator compartment, but the actual sensor is inside the plastic cover. You will need to cute the wires on the old sensor and attach the new wire with wire nuts and mount it in the same clip. Hope this helps you, thanks! Read More...
