Hello Joe, You would not pull the thermistor out unless you are replacing it. The thermistor would have to be spliced into place once removed. You would check the thermistor at the control board. You may want to pull your tower from the refrigerator section and check the damper assembly WR49X10091 to see if the door on the damper is broken. This is the most likely cause for the unit to get too cold in the refrigerator section.
