Gaylen for Model Number GTWN3000M0WS washer had been working, was going to wash another load and washer wouldn't fill. When lid is shut will start to agitate with no water in tub. Because of no incoming water with lid open or shut and wanting to agitate when lid closed and main switch is on I"m thinking main timer? Other thoughts?
Answer Gaylen, First, check the WH12X10476 Switch, Pressure, and the WH41X365 Pressure Switch Hose. If air or water is trapped in the tube or the pressure switch and the circuit is "stuck" in the full tub position, the washer will not fill and will agitate with an empty tub. Disconnect the tube from the switch, and blow in the end of the tube, you should hear the air enter the bottom of the tub. then check for a "closed' circuit from COM (yellow/red) wire terminal to the terminal 15 (violet)wire terminal, If all's OK, then replace the timer.
