Steve H. for Model Number DBXR453EA1WW Turned the timer to start dryer cycle and heard a pop. Now the dryer will not turn on or do anything. It acts as if there is no power to the timer. There is power as the interior light is still on. Can I assume it is the timer? I dont want to just start replacing parts. Any help and info is appreciated!
Answer Hello Steve, This sounds like you have lost an electrical circuit. You should check the dryer doo switch first. If it is ok, you will have to remove the terminal block terminal and start checking for 240Vac and lost electrical connections. I doubt seriously that the timer is at fault.
