Ed for Model Number GE DPSR610EGWT The plastic knob stem on the dryer timer has worn and the knob will not turn it. I have received the replacement timer, WE4M527. Dryer model is GE DPSR610EGWT bought in 2009. My original timer has 2 prongs for attachment at terminal C with two separate brown wire with connectors. There is not enough space to fit both connectors on one prong. I notice other wiring comments address a double brown wire connected to terminal C. Do my two separate brown wires need to now be joined on one connector? I assume on later models that they were.
