Grasp the trim at the top and pull forward. Three tabs at the bottom fit into slots on the top panel." Once you pull the timer knob off, be careful and don't loose the knob clip WH01X10106 and have the control panel down and access to the timer, you will need a flat blade screwdriver to raise the tabs holding the timer to the console and turn the timer assembly to dislocate it from the panel. Install the new timer, then take one wire off at a time, and install it on the new component, Make sure the wire is attached to the same terminal of the new timer. reverse the procedure and test the dryer operation.
