Peter for Model Number HTDX100ED3WW I've broken three timer knobs on my Hotpoint dryer. One was replaced by APP under the warranty, but why are they breaking? The plastic "D" cracks along the sides even though the metallic clip insert is in place. Would the timer drag cause this? What is you suggestion?
