Willie for Model Number DBXR463EG6CC My husband bought a timer for our dryer. He didn't connect it up correctly the first time. I went back and reconnected it but the dryer is not working. If I have connected my wires to the correct place , but my dryer does not come on after being plugged in again, what could be the problem? Is it possible to blow the timer if it is reconnected wrong the first time?
Answer Willie, It is possible but if the dryer was not working previously then you would want to check the thermal fuse and door switch for continuity. The door switch should have continuity when closed and if not then the switch is bad. The thermal fuse should always have continuity. Read More...
