Don K. for Model Number DBSR463EG6WW I've had problem similar to numerous GE owners. Shaft on timer dial was plastic and twisted off. Looking at your parts replacements, is the shaft for Part Number PS8690648 plastic or metal. There are some parts that just should not be plastic? If it is plastic do you have any replacement parts that would fit my model dryer that are metal. If I have a choice I'd rather have a timer dial with a metal shaft. Thanks.
