Brian for Model Number Gtdp180edoww This dryer starts and runs however it stops after a period of time normally 10 min or so even with timer set for 60 min. Could there be another reason other than the timer I should be checking? Air flow is good, however I'm concerned that possibly there is something in the circuit that interrupts power such as a thermal li,it. If so wouldn't this be a manual reset? Your help would be appreciated. Than, you
Answer Brian, With the unit shutting down after 10 minutes on any cycle then it sounds like it would be an issue of a possible motor overheating issue. Would want to check the glides and bearing to ensure that it is not causing the motor to drag and cause it to overheat. If these check ok then the motor would most likely be the cause of this issue.
