Glynis L. for Model Number LDS4821BB Why did the float assembly fail? It leaked and flood my kitchen. Why is there debris in the float assembly, maybe mold and food? I filed a home owners insurance claim because of flooding.
Answer Hello Glynis. One way debris gets into the float assembly is from customers using to much soap and causing alot of soap suds. This will allow trash and debris to get into the float assembly. Make sure you are using the proper amount of soap. If you open the door and there is alot of suds, you will need to cut back on the amount of soap being used. Hope this helps. Read More...
