The insulation in my old Ohio house is terrible, and the Valve Assy, Inlet part under my dishwasher must have froze and burst when the temperature outside got below 0. So all of a sudden the dishwasher stops working, "0E error"on the panel. Did some google searches and found that it might be the filter, which I did not know needed to be changed, or worse, the motor. Took the filter off per online tutorial (easy) and mopped up all the stagnant water. Poking around, I find the small rubber check valve that has broken. Had to fish it out with tweezers. I bought a new controller first and installed it. The exact replacement controller was no longer available and I had to modify two AC connectors that changed from 3 pins with two wires to two pins with two wires. This was not expected but I made it work just fine by getting the three pin connectors on the cable to fit the two pin by breaking out the center web in the board two pin and then shaving off the raised key plastic on the wires. First determined drain discharge hose was clear. Turned of power to dishwasher. I did not find it necessary to remove the dishwasher. I simply removed the lower service panel at the floor and was able to easily remove the defective pump, unplug it, replace the small rubber check valve flapper before the pump inlet and reinstall the new pump assembly. I watched a suggested video about my model and was able to easily take apart the filter unit and access the drainage area. I found a worn out "Float" Valve. In the process of replacing the float valve I went ahead and replaced a gasket and the Valve, Check. Repairs went great. Parts were a perfect fit. This is the second time I used AplliancePartsPros.
