John for Model Number lg dishwasher lds5540s My LG dishwasher, model lds5540s , is not cleaning well. I've cleaned the filter and the interior components. Also checked the water inlet valve. I noticed however that what appears to be the float on the side of the machine is very dark and dirty. It looks like the interior walls of the float are coated with dark debris. Could this be the source of my problem? Also, i can access the side of my unit easily. The float is easily accessible. Can i simply disconnect the float and pop in a new one? Or do i need to uninstall the entire unit, including the sump line? Thanks
