Barrett for Model Number lfxs30766s LG ice maker (rotating ejection fingers, not the twist tray style) works when reset button is pressed IF the bin is pulled out to keep the ice level sense arm from hitting the bin. The bin is properly seated, the arm (metal wire) is unbent - it is obvious that the sweep of the arm is fixed by the 90° bend and is unchanged. I have cycled power to the unit thinking that perhaps it resets/calibrates itself, but operation is still the same. It seems odd that a failure of some sort would cause the arm to move a greter rotation, but that's what appears to happen. When the arm travels the full distance then the ice cycle completes correctly.
Answer Barrett, This issue would be caused by a faulty icemaker that would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, October 9, 2023
