Steven for Model Number LFXS30796S/00 My ice maker AEQ73130004 made ice but won't harvest ice automatically. When pushed reset button, it cycled through and harvested ice then went dead until I reset it again. I have replaced the ice maker with a new one but the problem remained. What could be a problem?
Answer Steven, thanks for the question. The harvest cycle is triggered by a thermostat in the ice maker. The temperature at the ice maker must get below 8°f for the thermostat to close and start the harvest cycle.
