Brad for Model Number Kenmore Coldspot 106.74203402 Is there a way to test the Main Control Board on my refrigerator? It is not going through the defrost cycle, even when I override it using the control panel in the refrigerator. I have checked the continuity of the defrost thermostat, as well as the continuity of the defrost heating element, and both are showing continuity. Lastly I checked the voltage coming into the heating element, and it it is reading about 0.5 volts (when it is in defrost mode). Thank you, Brad
Answer Hello Brad. If your trying to do a forced defrost and the board is not going into defrost, you will need to replace the control board WP2304146. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
