Yawo, Test to see if the fans are getting 12 vdc to them and if they are not then the main control board will be the issue. If there is power to them then replace the fans.

Guy for Model Number 79577569600

woke up to refrigerator beeping, not cooling and fridge interior light not working (freezer lights did work and was cold) unplugged and reset, now get ER dH code. found that main board is not putting out voltage to defrost heater when in test mode "3". Per TECHNICAL DATA sheet that came with fridge, requires part # EBR34917102 main control board...However back in 2009, the refrigerator lights stayed on, and under warranty the main control board along with the light assembly and other parts, where replaced. I still have that invoice and it has listed main control board part # EBR34917104, however the part number on the board installed is EBR34917109. I understand the 104 replaces the 102, but do not see any info about the 109 replacing either of the other. I see you stock both part numbers, Do you have any info on the 109 as being a replacement for the others and suggestions to which I should order ? Thanks (fridge s/n 612KR00166)

Nancy, With nothing on the unit working, this will most likely be a faulty main control board.

Pat, The error codes that you are getting will pertain to the icemaker fan and icemaker sensor not working. For the freezer section not working you will want to check to make sure that the fan in the freezer is working and that the evaporator coils have a nice even frost pattern from top to bottom. If it does not then this may be a sealed system issue and would require a technician.

Tw for Model Number 795.73132410

Freezer part of fridge was intermittently working, sometimes close to 0°F other times closer to 30°F. Had a repair done and the compressor was replaced (qualified Sears tech). Was not cooling after the repair so I checked the PCB board and noticed a 6 flashing light code (did not do that before). I ran through the 3 step diagnostics, unplugged the fridge for 15 mins, and restarted. The freezer got cold (down to about 5°F) for about 24 hours then warmed back up, warmer than before the repair. The PCB light is again flashing 6 times. Is it possible a bad compressor was installed (it sounds OK), it was a bad install (leak) or did the install possibly damage my PCB board somehow? PCB board was supposedly updated as part of the repair. Some guidance here would be appreciated before I decide the next steps. Thanks

TW, the 6 blinks is going to indicate that there is a sealed system issue, likely a leak, that would require a freon certified technician to diagnose and repair.

Charles, usually if there is a major failure in the compressor TCA38151706, the main control EBR79267107 will have a blinking LED that will indicate a failure. Depending on what the flash pattern is, it can tell if there is a failure in the compressor or the control.

CoGuy, as the ice maker is able to enter into a forced harvest and the secondary valve activates, the failure would most likely be in the main control EBR34917104.

I changed my control board because the refrigerator would not stay cold. The changed board makes the refrigerator cold but My ice and water don't work. I put the old board in and it will dispense ice and water but not cool. The original board number is EBR809775, the replacement board that was sent to me is the same EBR809775. I do see that there is a sticker on Both boards one has a 27 and one has a 38. I feel like I was sent the wrong board but the numbers match on the actual control boards. Are the other numbers maybe a series #.

Mike, if the model number of your appliance could be provided in a new question, this will allow for the most accurate information to be presented.
