Dan R. for Model Number 795.77563600 Kenmore Elite Trio Bottom Freezer Ice maker does not work. Had water valve replaced about a year ago. Replaced both motors in the freezer about 6-8 months ago. Have not rechecked the valve or motors. Water dispenser works but no water flows into the ice maker. Have checked to make sure the line it is not frozen. Everything inside the refrigerator seems to work. Could the problem be in the circuit board? What else do I check? Thanks
Answer Hello Dan, You will need to check voltage to the water valve during an icemaker cycle. If voltage it getting to it and no water is coming into the icemaker, verify no frozen tubing and replace the water valve 5220JB2008A. If no voltage is being sent to the water valve, verify electrical connections at the door hinge and if no problems found, replace the icemaker assembly EAU60943434. Read More...
