Don for Model Number ltcs24223w/06

My L.G. top freezer refrigerator will only cool to 46-48 degrees in the fridge. the freezer is find. the problem began with the air duct freezing up and not allowing air to circulate to the fridge after removing ice and adjusting setting it took about 3 days and it reoccurred and was repeated again and then one tech said it was the main board and would order one the owner of the service said it was the defrost sensor and replaced it still does not work any better.

Answer

Don, If the ducts are freezing then you will want to check to see if the drain under the evaporator is clogged and if it is then clean out any ice and flush with hot water. This would be the most likely cause for the ducts to freeze over.
