Tj for Model Number wm2016cw Hi, I have a LG washer that gives a OE error code when it drains. It will drain the water fine but it will keep draining and pausing for about 10 mins then throw this OE error something about not draining check restriction in drain or pump. I checked the drain hose, pump, pressure dome, pressure switch, and wires. They all seem ok so I replaced the pressure switch and still the same problem. Could it possibly be I need to change this PCB board?
Answer TJ, You will want to reach into the drain pump and check the impeller to make sure that when you spin it there should be a magnetic type catch when spun. Also check the tube at the bottom of the tub to make sure that there are no restrictions in the tube. If all checks ok then replaced the control board. Read More...
