Matthew for Model Number WT5070CW 5 days ago my LG washer started stopping at the beginning of the rinse cycle, not going further. It was flashing a UE error. I would look, the load looked even. I redistributed and restarted the cycle. It has now progressed to where it will stop at the beginning of the rinse cylce, the "rinse" symbol just flashes, and won't go further. If I manually do a rinse and spin, it will take forever to do a "load sense" then fill the basket nearly full of water, rinse, drain, then sit there with the pump running away on an empty basket until you turn it off. Then you have to do a manual spin, it will spin out, but again, sit there with the pump running while the basket is empty. You can even hear the pump sucking air. I opened the top and checked that all the support rods are not broken. Smart Diagnostics says all is good. I'm thinking it's the control panel?
Answer Matthew, it would be recommended that unit is checked if it is level and the spin basket is inspected for any resistance when rotating by hand. If there is resistance, it is possible that an item got in between the spin basket and outer tub. If there is not resistance, the stator 4417EA1002K windings would need to be tested for resistance and the windings should read between 5 to 15O (they should all match). If these check good, and the spin basket does not wobble around while the washer is in spin mode, then the failure is likely in the main control EBR67466109. Read More...
