Designed for use on a washing machine unit, this is a control board. This part manages the washing machine's functions, including filling with water, the wash cycle, draining the tub, and the spinning cycle. This is an essential component for the washing machine and if it is not working properly, nothing will work on the unit. The washing machine may not fill the tub with water or advance through any of the cycles if this part has gone bad. These cycles include washing, draining, and spinning. Unplug the washing machine before performing care or maintenance on the unit. Wearing work gloves is recommended for safety to ensure that the hands are not injured during this process. The control board is sold individually. It comes directly from the manufacturer and is a genuine and durable replacement part. This particular part is compatible with washing machine units that are manufactured by the LG brand.

Answer

Jim, the washer will need to be checked to ensure that it is level. From there, the fluid in the counterbalance ring will need to be checked by rotating the spin basket and then quickly stopping it. There should be a sound of water sloshing around. With these two steps complete, the next step would be to take a cup of water and set it on the dryer (dryer and washer can not be touching) and set the washer on a spin cycle. If the water sloshes around, there is vibration transferring through the floor which indicates a weak floor (after the prior checks have been made). If the water does not splash around, the final step would be to replace the suspension rods AJK72909308.
