Questions & Answers

For Lg Control Board (Part Number: OEM17043189)

Jim, the washer will need to be checked to ensure that it is level. From there, the fluid in the counterbalance ring will need to be checked by rotating the spin basket and then quickly stopping it. There should be a sound of water sloshing around. With these two steps complete, the next step would be to take a cup of water and set it on the dryer (dryer and washer can not be touching) and set the washer on a spin cycle. If the water sloshes around, there is vibration transferring through the floor which indicates a weak floor (after the prior checks have been made). If the water does not splash around, the final step would be to replace the suspension rods AJK72909308.

Pamela, checking the user interface for any activated special settings will be the first step in identifying what could be causing this. If there are any special settings turned on such as stain care, extra rinse, soak, or cold wash then the wash times can be longer. If none of these selections are illuminated, the next thing to check is the time that it takes for the washer to fill with water as well as soil level and load size as these can all play a role in wash times. If the water is filling properly, then it is possible that there may be an issue with the main control EBR75795702 not keeping the proper timing in regards to what has been selected.
