George for Model Number LRE304519W I have model number LRE304519W and the back left burner display lights up no matter which burner I have on. And sometimes it will not come on when I try and use it. What part do I need to fix this?
Answer HI George. You need to find the supplied service tech. sheet either in the controls or on the lower inner frame after you remove the drawer. It will tell you the electrical devices resistances to see if they are bad. The volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1 if needed. You can unplug the ribbon cable from the control board to see if the light goes out, if it does then the keypad was shorted or stuck. Part # 383EW1N006E. If not then you need to plug it back in and see if the burner sensor is sticking shut and allowing the surface light to stay on. Unplug the sensor lead wire and see if the light goes out. If so it is burner part # 5300W1R004A. If not then your control board logic is most likely at fault. Part # 6871W1N002A. Thank You. Read More...
