Ben C. for Model Number LRE30451ST My LG range had a few temperature fluctuations and now it proceeds directly to a self cleaning mode. We have to trip the breaker off to control power supply. Is it a control board issue or a thermstat problem ? Why do the controls not repond and why is the self cleaning mode not turning off ?
Answer Hi Ben. Turn the power off. Remove the ribbon cable from the back of the control board. Then reapply the power. If the unit does not turn on then this is one way to verify if the keypad has a stuck /shorted keypad. It is part # 383EW1N006F.
