Terri for Model Number LG Refridgerator Model LFC25760SW Hello, We previously ordered the door buttons because our refridgerator light would not go on. We replaced them, the lights still don't work. We ordered the light socket assembly which was recommended for our refridgerator, but on receiving it, it looks different from the one my husband pulled out of the fridge. The original one has the sockets, a blue and purple wire and a white plug. The one we received has a round metal thing with a purple and pink wire attached, and also an extra green and yellow wire. Is this something new, or is the one recommended on your website maybe not accurate? If it is something new that should be attached, are there instructions on how to do this? If so, could you email them to me? If this isn't correct we'll need to return this one. Terri
Answer Hello Terri. The light socket assembly is correct and you would need to screw the round disc, which is a thermostat to keep the lights from staying on, to the reflector assembly. This repair will also require a new main control board 6871JB1423N to correct the issue of the lights staying on or not coming on. Read More...
