Victor for Model Number defrost timer#AP4565266 (CF2003-56) for magic chef MCBR1010W Hello. I recently installed my defrost timer but still the freezer won't stop to defrost. I have already been explained that it could be the thermostat or defrost heater, but before checking these parts I want to be sure I have installed the wiring correctly. I plugged it in first the same way the previous one was installed (not original and installed by someone whose expertise I now doubt) and then by color scheme the timer shows. None of them worked. Could it be that I did not plug it n correctly? Victor
Answer Victor, The wiring of the timer should be as follows, terminal 1 should have a white wire attached, terminal 2 should be a pink, the number 3 terminal is yellow and the number 4 terminal is blue.
