Chris for Model Number WA48H7400AW/A2-0000

I tried some of your troubleshooting suggestions here and was pretty certain it was a latch failure. The washer won't start filling or running. Cycle selection works fine and everything else responds as well. When I push start the indicator that shows what part of the cycle is running just flashes wash and the cycle on the dial does the same thing. Could this be something else? I have gotten 2 latches (from a seller on Amazon) that were used when they were supposed to be new and they were also the old version. Should I just get a new one from you or is there something else I should check first?

Answer

Chris, With the unit not filling with water you will want to check to make sure that there is 120 vac getting to the water valve and make sure that the water valve screens are not clogged. If there is power and screens are not clogged but no water coming in then this will be a bad valve. If there is no power then this would be a faulty main control board.
