Sandi for Model Number DMT400RHW/XAA Our dishwasher turns on fine; as it starts to fill with water, the Smart Auto light starts flashing. Is this some type of sensor problem?
Answer Sandi, The smart auto light flashing would indicate that there is a water fill error. You will want to check for clog in the water valve check to make sure that there is power getting to the water valve. If there is power to the water valve but does not fill then the issue will be the water valve being defective. If the water valve is not getting power then the control board would be the issue.
