Bryan E Federal Way , WA July 13, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Dishwasher DMT800RHS/XAA 9e error code samsung dmt800 series dd94 01006a "assembly case sensor" Note that unlike the picture, it has two sets of wires: a 6 pin on the side and a (not shown) 2 pin coming out of the white plastic top. For this particular model you do not need to set it on its side as other commenters mention for their model. This is one of two transparent assembly case boxes that are attached together 1) Shutoff water and power, remove at least bottom rack, both preferable. 2) Pop two blue grey tabs and unscrew dishwasher from cabinet, remove two screws from the bottom plate, and set it aside 3) Pull unit out at least 80% of the way, making sure the drain hose and water connection don't get caught or kinked 4) Remove two screws in metal plate on the left hand side of the unit, set plate aside, move bottom part of insulation out of the way 5) From inside the unit unscrew the blue grey plastic baffle cover about 1/2" and it will come off. If it is stuck, push gently on the transparent plastic part on the opposite side 6) Tilt the top of the transparent boxes on the outside left, detaching only the top part from the dishwasher (where the baffle cover was) 7) Unhook all three white electrical connectors near the bottom of the transparent boxes. Each of them has a small tab that pushes in, allowing them to pull apart easily. 8) Using pliers pinch the metal collars and push them down on the two black hoses only, and remove them from the plastic. This may take a few minutes, especially for the one oriented down. You do not need to remove the pair of grey hoses. 9) Lift slightly off the assembly and wiggle this part off the other larger transparent box "Assembly case brake DD94-01005A" 10) Replace and reverse above instructions. Make sure the power plug didn't pull out of the outlet before resecuring to cabinet (which happened to me). Mine has a part number stamped on it of DD61-00275A My guess as to the typical problem is corrosion on the two wire pins embedded in the white top. The other sensors for the float level are not exposed to water. Read More... 37 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers
Geoffrey W Crofton , MD September 30, 2014 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG DW80F600UTS Over level water error on samsung dishwasher We replaced the sensor on the side of the dishwasher. We needed to uninstall the dishwasher. After we did that, we re-attached the wiring and plumbing so that we could see the little float inside the sensor assembly float past the upper limit and so that the water would make a circuit with the two wire leads at the top. That gave us good evidence that the sensor was bad (because the failsafe was activated). So we swapped out the part after ordering a replacement. We did have to put the dishwasher on its side to make the change. The first time we tried it after the replacement, the error reoccurred (water filled to the top), but we tried it again and it worked the second time. Once we were confident that we repaired the dishwasher, we reinstalled it into the cabinet. A parts supplier said that he saw lots of these parts in stock. So, with Samsung being new to this appliance market, he figured it was a design flaw and a common problem with the part. Too bad it failed 14 months into a 12 month warranty. Nathan J Parker , CO November 23, 2014 Appliance: Samsung Dishwasher DMT400RHS/XAA Over water level error I replaced the water level sensor on the side of the dishwasher. Had to completely take out dishwasher and set on its side. Removed three hose clamps and three electrical disconnects. I have hard water and it looked like the float inside of the sensor wasn't moving properly. Noel B New Milford , PA March 18, 2014 Low flow alarm on my Dishwasher I first tried removing and cleaning out the flow sensor. The float inside it seemed to move fine, but after putting it back together I still couldn't run a load without the dishwasher stopping and giving me the low flow alarm. I decided to go ahead and replace the part and it seems to have fixed it. So far, 2 loads have been run through and no alarm.
