Todd for Model Number samsung fridge part AP4172188 I just purchases and replaced the ice maker. It would not produce any ice. It will fill the tray and if you hit the reset button it will cycle thru. I waited overnight and still no ice produced. What tells the machine that the ice is frozen to cycle?
Answer Hello Todd! The icemaker thermostat indicates the ice is frozen and it is time to dump the ice and cycle.
