JTH, The button is on the bottom in the front and should not need to remove the cover to push it. The part number for the icemaker is DA97-07603B. For the frosting issue, make sure that the door is sealing properly.

Jessica, We will need to have the model number of your appliance to be able to assist properly with the question but make sure that the water is hooked up to a water supply. Make sure that the water is turned on. If there is a dispenser make sure that the dispenser is not saying icemaker off. If it does then there will be a button to turn the icemaker on.

Hello William, the water supply does not have to be turned off however you should unplug the ref from power as the ice maker communicates with the main control board directly and its best to have power off when disconnecting/connecting wire harnesses.

Michael, It would be recommended to check to make sure that the water valve is getting power to it. If there is power to it then the issue will be a faulty valve. If there is no power then it would likely be the control board that is faulty.

Hello Rick, If the icemaker fill tube is not frozen the issue is most likely the water inlet valve DA74-40150H. Be aware that the dual water inlet valve has one side for the water dispense and one side for the icemaker.
